José Ángel"Mantequilla"Nápoles, former welterweight world champion, received a tribute to his career from the World Boxing Council and the Mexico City Boxing Commission on April 1, 2017. Mr. Alberto Reyes, general director of Cleto Reyes was in charge of offering the boxer's speech at that ceremony. The glove was signed by Esmeralda Moreno, Ibeth Zamora, Alejandra Jiménez, Rafael"Bazooka"Limón, Rafael Herrera, Ultiminio Ramos,"Mantequilla"Nápoles and Humberto González.
