Lost His Title
In his first defense on July 29, 1972, the Nuevo Panama Gymnasium against the local Enrique"Maravilla"Pínder, who defeated him by unanimous decision. The second time he lost the WBC bantamweight title was on December 7, 1974, in Mérida, Rodolfo Martínez technically knocked him out in four rounds.
